Analysis of common problems in LCD segment screen display

1、 Lack of pen segment: short circuit between PIN and screen, which may be caused by loose PIN needle in the middle due to too thick glue

 

2、 Ghost: the external voltage is too high, reduce the external voltage or turn up the LCD voltage

 

3、 Faint words: the external voltage is too low, turn up the external voltage or turn down the LCD voltage

 

4、 A single paragraph is missing or faint or ghosting:

①    Switch to a low resistance screen

②    Change to other IC

③    Change to double COM port, and go back to the line

 

5、 Fuzzy display: Incorrect view

 

6、 Rainbow on the LCD surface:

①    ITO glass is not flat, replace the flat glass imported

②    Polarizer Angle problem

 

Note: Rainbow appears only under negative display and STN/FSTN material, which has no effect on TN and HTN positive display.
